welcome

Hello, my name is Esther Yousoun Kim

My treatment philosophy focuses on the overall health of the body, mind, and spirit. Instead of merely addressing the visible 'pain,' I have always paid attention to the 'person' experiencing the pain. Through my doctoral dissertation titled "Oriental Medicine’s Approach to Depression in Regards to the Concept of Different Constitution" I discovered that an individual's constitution, environment, and diet play key roles in their health. Most importantly, I realized that much of the pain people experience stems from unresolved emotions and negative past experiences. This is why I place such importance on treating both the body and the mind together.

In traditional medicine, the mind and body are viewed as one. True health is restored when the body and mind are in harmony, and at our clinic, we strive to provide personalized holistic treatment for each patient. We aim to help our patients regain balance, peace, and vitality in their lives through a healthy, balanced approach that cares for not only their physical well-being but also their emotional well-being. On this healing journey, where the wisdom of traditional medicine meets the warm care for the body and soul, we will walk alongside you.

2. INTRODUCTION TO TRADITIONAL MEDICINE TREATMENT

ACUPUNCTURE THERAPY

The principle of traditional acupuncture involves stimulating the body's 'meridians' and 'acupuncture points' to regulate the flow of 'qi' (life energy) and 'blood' through a network. Imbalances in this flow are considered to be the cause of illness. Acupuncture is a method of inserting needles into specific points to regulate the flow of qi and promote the body's natural healing abilities.

Acupuncture positively affects the nervous system, muscles, and blood circulation, and can be expected to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, activate bodily functions, and improve digestion. It also addresses both physical and mental aspects, helping to alleviate stress, stabilize the mind, and address sleep issues, aiming to resolve the root causes of diseases and promote long-term health.

Over time, this ancient healing practice has been integrated with modern medicine and gained global recognition as a significant component of traditional medicine. Today, it has evolved into various forms such as electro-acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, and cosmetic acupuncture, and is provided according to the needs of the patient.

Introduction Traditinal Medicine

HERBAL THERAPY

Herbal medicine has developed over thousands of years since ancient times and focuses on balancing both the body and mind. It improves qi and blood circulation and allows for more individualized treatment with custom prescriptions based on body constitution and symptoms. The holistic approach considers the overall balance of the body, addressing not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes, which makes it an effective and comprehensive treatment. Most herbal medicines consist of plant-based ingredients, making them suitable for those who prefer natural ways to manage diseases. The effectiveness of herbal medicine has been reported through various clinical experiences and studies.

Key Benefits of Herbal Medicine:

1. Pain relief: It is used for managing various types of pain, including menstrual pain, muscle pain, arthritis, and headaches. 2. Digestion improvement: It strengthens digestive functions and is effective for problems such as indigestion, constipation, and diarrhea. 3. Immune support: Certain herbs help strengthen the immune system, aiding in the prevention of colds and viral infections. 4. Hormonal regulation: It is also used to address women’s menstrual irregularities or menopausal symptoms, as well as men’s health issues. 5. Stress and anxiety management: Since herbal medicine restores the balance of both body and mind, it can help with mental stability and relaxation, offering relief to those suffering from anxiety, depression, and insomnia. 6. Chronic illness care: It is beneficial for long-term conditions such as chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and chronic digestive issues.

Precautions:
If herbal medicine is taken appropriately according to one’s constitution, it can help restore the overall balance of the body. However, its effects are complex, varying with each patient depending on their constitution and illness. Also, compared to Western medicine, the response rate might feel slower in terms of immediacy. Although slower, the proper use of herbal medicine tailored to the patient’s symptoms and constitution can yield positive results.

At Healing Soul Clinic, we carefully select high-quality herbal ingredients that are FDA- and GMP-certified from Korea and the U.S. We store and handle these herbs in a clean and independent environment under strict management. Dr. Kim, who excels in combining herbs tailored to individual constitutions, carefully diagnoses and prescribes with the knowledge and skill necessary for effective treatment, ensuring that each prescription is crafted with the same care as if it were for her own family. You can trust and take the herbal medicine with peace of mind.

MOXIBUSTION THERAPY

Moxibustion is an important treatment method in traditional Korean medicine, as widely known as acupuncture. It involves applying heat stimulation to specific acupoints or affected areas by burning herbs like mugwort or applying steam to treat illnesses. The heat and medicinal effects of the herbs penetrate through the meridians and acupuncture points, promoting the normal flow of qi and blood in the body. At Healing Soul Clinic, moxibustion is often used alongside acupuncture to enhance therapeutic effects. The main difference between acupuncture and moxibustion lies in the manipulation of qi. While acupuncture focuses on balancing and regulating the overall flow of energy, moxibustion emphasizes replenishing the body’s yang energy, or warm energy.

Moxibustion Treatment Methods and Effects:

1. Applied directly to the affected area to eliminate the root cause of the disease. 2. Moxibustion can also be applied to areas like the epigastric region, the lower abdomen, or the back to promote the circulation of qi and blood through the meridians, boosting overall energy flow, enhancing immunity, and reducing fatigue. The epigastric region is particularly effective for digestive and gastrointestinal issues, while the lower abdomen is beneficial for women’s gynecological and urinary problems, and in men, it enhances vitality and helps treat prostate issues. 3. By replenishing warm energy, moxibustion is used for treating chronic or weakness-related illnesses. 4. It helps calm the mind and alleviate pent-up emotions. In addition, moxibustion is beneficial for those with cold or numb hands and feet, assists with detoxification, fat breakdown, blood purification, stress reduction, insomnia, and improves concentration. It offers numerous health benefits for general wellness and disease prevention.

Precautions;

Since moxibustion involves heat stimulation, caution is required to prevent burns and fire hazards. While the effects of moxibustion are extensive and effective, the methods and types of moxibustion vary, so it should be used according to a diagnosis from a licensed practitioner to avoid side effects. If performed by an inexperienced person, there is a risk of infection, scarring from burns, or even fire. Therefore, it is essential to seek professional guidance.

CUPPING THERAPY

Dry Cupping Therapy:

Cupping therapy is a traditional method used in Oriental medicine, where a cup is placed on the skin and the air inside is removed to create a vacuum. This promotes blood circulation and helps eliminate toxins from the body. The aim is to improve energy flow and remove stagnated blood to relieve pain. Cupping effectively treats muscle pain, joint pain, and fatigue while accelerating the body’s natural healing process. Scientifically, cupping expands peripheral blood vessels, increases blood flow, reduces inflammation, and aids in waste removal. After cupping therapy, the red marks left on the skin are a natural reaction and usually fade gradually within 1 to 2 weeks. The duration of these marks can vary depending on individual skin conditions and the intensity of the treatment.

Wet Cupping Therapy:

Wet cupping is a form of traditional cupping therapy where small wounds are made on the skin before applying the cup. This process helps draw out stagnant blood, toxins, and fluids, promoting better blood circulation and reducing inflammation. Wet cupping is often used for chronic pain, muscle stiffness, and fatigue. However, the procedure requires careful hygiene to prevent infection, as it involves skin incisions. The duration and intensity of treatment vary based on the patient’s condition.

Fire Cupping Therapy:

Traditional Korean fire cupping, uses ceramic cups to create negative pressure. This technique finds acupoints related to the affected areas and adheres the cups to the skin, improving blood circulation, removing phlegm and blood stasis, and purifying body fluids. The ceramic cups are heated to create a vacuum, providing strong suction and a warm, heavy sensation for a comforting massage effect. This therapy helps promote recovery and aids in disease treatment and prevention.

The underlying benefits:

1.  It promotes oxygen metabolism and overall metabolism in the bod

2.  It helps convert an acidic constitution into a healthier one.

3.  It aids in maintaining healthy skin.

4.  It assists in breaking down fats, contributing to weight loss.

5.  It purifies the fluids around the affected tissues and has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

6.  It stimulates the autonomic nervous system, aiding in digestion, bowel control, and sleep regulation.

7.  It is widely used to replenish vital energy and enhance natural healing abilities.

8.  It can help with headaches, hypertension, and menstrual pain.

Precautions:

Individuals who are severely weak, have sensitive skin, experience high fever or convulsions, have heart problems, are pregnant, or suffer from low blood pressure or extreme fatigue should avoid cupping therapy. Additionally, caution is advised for those who engage in intense exercise immediately before treatment or have diabetes and chronic illnesses. It is recommended to consult with a practitioner beforehand. For wet cupping, proper sanitation and hygiene are critical, so disposable cups are used and strict disinfection protocols are followed.

6 Special Care

EMOTIONAL CARE

The goal is to stabilize your mind and emotions by harmonizing your body's energy ('chi'). Above all, we strive to help you embrace self-love and rediscover the strength to overcome life's challenges.

Oriental medicine is a microcosm in which the body and mind cannot be separated. It is a vital activity that closely influences each other, and balance is considered to be very important. If your emotions are always in a depressed state, your immune function will gradually decrease and it will eventually lead to physical illness. Therefore, maintaining a stable mental state is very important in preventing and treating diseases.

Treatment Methods:

(1) Acupuncture and ear acupuncture(Auricular) promote circulation of energy and blood to the internal organs and relieve mental tension.

(2) Cupping and moxibustion relaxes the mind and body, relieves stress and increases immunity.

(3) Herbs restores the function of a tired heart, strengthens the body's immune system, and stabilizes the autonomic nervous system. *Highly recommended

(4) Abdominal breathing. stretching, counseling, and continuous mental management will strengthen your mind and body.

GENERAL HEALTH CARE

The goal is to manage the body and mind as a preventative measure from the perspective of preventive medicine by correcting the imbalance of the body (Yin-Yang, deficiency-excess, and Qi-Blood-Body Fluids) and increasing immunity. For about 1,500 years, Oriental medicine’s main goal was to prevent diseases before they occur using the “yangsaeng”(oriental traditional nursing) perspective. "Yangsaeng”(oriental traditional nursing) is a physical and mental management therapy which regulates psychological and mental stability, stress management, food control, daily life regularity, sexual moderation, exercise, and sleep.

Most diseases don't form all at once. Although a disease may seem to appear suddenly, the origin of the disease actually begins long before symptoms appear and has progressed steadily. That's why you need to pay close attention to various precursor symptoms of a disease that may not cause much discomfort, or changes in your physical condition that aren't classified as a disease but are definitely abnormal. Taking care of your physical and mental health before a disease occurs can save more time, money, and effort than treating it after the disease occurs.

Treatment Methods:

(1) Acupuncture : a. Balances the human body by controlling the flow of the five intestines and suppresses the progression of the disease.   b. Prevent disease by neck shoulder stiffness or stress management.
The neck is an important link in our body that connects the brain and body and affects each other. It recognizes many diseases caused by whole-body blood circulation, systemic neurotransmission, cerebrospinal fluid circulation, neck bone twisting, and neck muscle clumping, and helps to maintain a proper posture and relieve stress at that time.

(2) Herbs: Oriental medicine, which has long prevented diseases by enhancing immunity, believes, "If the Zheng-qi(Upright-qi) is in our body, the Xie-qi(Evil-qi) cannot dare to invade." To prevent diseases, herbal supplements has been used to boost immunity by strengthening Zheng-qi(Upright-qi)
(3) Moxibustion therapy: helps to improve natural healing ability and resistance and immune function by removing coldness within the body and raising body temperature with warm energy.

(4) Cupping or acupressure: relax muscles, boost immunity, and relieve stress.

(5) Abdominal breathing, Stretching, correcting posture, exercising, managing eating habits, proper hand washing etc., will also prevent diseases.

BEAUTY CARE

The goal is to help improve the whole body in a healthy way by reviving the function of organs in the body as well as the face, and to bring out natural beauty. By stimulating the muscles in the face with acupuncture, the procedure improves the contour of the face, reduces the face, improves and brightens the texture and complexion of the skin, improves fine wrinkles and removes facial swelling. Cosmetic acupuncture is a non-surgical method without side effects. Instead of trying to get a drastic change in a very short period of time, cosmetic acupuncture stimulates the acupoints of the face and body to connect the meridians, and regulates the function and energy of the five intestines to promote the metabolism of the skin. It can help improve the relaxation and feeling of heat loss not only on the face, improve the nasal congestion, and help with tension headaches and sleeplessness caused by stress.

In oriental medicine, there is a concept of identity that each part of our body is connected as one. Just as all the organs of the human body are connected to the hands and feet, each part of the body is connected to the face, therefore the belief is that cosmetic acupuncture can also help with whole body health. You can gain both beauty and health through oriental beauty acupuncture.

Treatment Methods:

(1) Facial & body Acupuncture To maintain the effects of acupuncture treatment for a longer period of time, approximately 10 treatments are recommended at intervals of 1-2 times a week. After the 10th session, additional treatments can be performed at intervals of about once a month to maintain the effect longer.

(2) Free Additional services include LED Light Therapy, skin cooling therapy, cavi-lipo RF therapy, relaxing facial massage, vitamin C and facial serums, neck & shoulder stretches and massage, etc. All these additional services not only relax your face, but your entire body for a peaceful time.

(3) Herb: It's a healthy herb for skin     *as deemed necessary

*Treatment results may vary from person to person.

INFERTILITY CARE

Our goal is to help induce ovulation and improve pelvic blood flow, promote natural pregnancy and childbirth through psychological stability, tension relief, hormonal control, and to help the mother's health after childbirth. Acupuncture treatment induces ovulation, improves pelvic blood flow, provides psychological stability, relieves tension, and has effects related to hormone regulation. There are studies showing that acupuncture is helpful in treating infertility. It also relieves morning sickness and headache stress during pregnancy. It also helps shorten labor time during childbirth, correct inversion of the fetus, and maintain the health of the mother and baby after birth.

Treatment Methods:

(1) Acupuncture balances hormones, helps eggs grow well, and reduces mental stress.
(2) Moxibustion therapy activates blood circulation, boosts immunity, helps activate hormones, dissipates cold, and keeps the body warm, creating a good environment for the baby to implant and grow in the womb.

(3) Herbs: before pregnancy - Using non-toxic, purely natural medicinal ingredients help create a good environment for pregnancy. It relieves morning sickness during pregnancy, helps expel unnecessary stagnant blood or lochia after childbirth, completely restores the uterine lining, and at the same time quickly relieves edema, which is effective in weight loss and helps prevent various pregnancy aftereffects and complications.
(4) Continuous care such as light stretching, abdominal breathing, and half-body bathing will keep your mind and body healthy.

WEIGHT CARE

By eliminating toxins from your body in the short term, you can improve your health, lose weight, and improve your skin.

Obesity is not just about weight gain, but it also causes other diseases such as chronic fatigue, atopic dermatitis, and metabolic syndrome as undetected waste builds up in the body. Along with acupuncture, Healing Soul Acupuncture uses a patented herbal medicine fasting supplement researched and developed by the Korean Society of Obesity to limit food intake for a certain period of time, helping the digestive system to rest and maximizing the action of removing toxins and waste accumulated in the body. It is a safe and efficient treatment to cope with the increase in body fatigue and electrolyte imbalance that may occur during the fasting period, and intensive management is performed for 30 days in the order of the preparatory period recovery period diet.

This is especially helpful for those who want to build a slim and healthy body, manage special health issues, take care of the body before having a baby, and for brides-to-be and others who want to manage their weight before a special event. If you take care of yourself during this period of time, you will lose weight. However, you should not forget that in the end, reducing stress, managing your diet, and exercising are the basis for maintaining a proper weight and being healthy in the long run.

Treatment Methods:

(1) Acupuncture & Electro Acupuncture & Auricula Acupuncture: Acupuncture twice a week is a safe and effective treatment that suppresses the appetite, affects neurotransmitters that promote lipolysis, improves the flow of qi and blood to balance the body, and promotes the metabolism of waste products to reduce swelling.
(2) Cupping, Radiofrequency therapy: This will promote blood circulation and metabolism.

(3) Herbs:  A detox dietary supplement consisting of safe and effective herbal teas developed by the Republic of Korean Obesity Society and passed by the FDA.

*this is a requirement for treatment

(4) Abdominal breathing. Stretching. Exercise. Dietary management and counseling to keep your body and mind healthy.

PAIN CARE

Our goal is to relieve acute or chronic pain by helping the circulation of qi and blood, and to continuously manage psychogenic pain caused by stress or mental problems.

(1) Acute pain => Neglected pain leads to secondary problems. Each organ in our body is organically connected, affecting other areas. If not treated in time, it can lead to chronic pain. In particular, injuries such as neck and waist sprains can become chronic pain, so early treatment is very important.

(2) Chronic pain=> Chronic pain causes stress, lowers immunity, and causes various mental diseases such as depression and anxiety. The purpose of treatment is to find the root cause of chronic pain and to change your lifestyle and environment through continuous treatment.

Treatment Methods:

(1) Acupuncture, electric acupuncture, TENS & acupuncture, and other methods direct circulation of the muscles and ligaments to reduce pain.

(2) Cupping and acupressure relaxes the muscles, relieves pain, helps tissue recovery, boosts immunity, and relieves stress.

(3) Herbs helps relieve pain and stress in herbal medicine pain and inflammation.(*To be used if necessary)

(4) Stretching, correct posture, exercise, & continuous management of lifestyle habits relieves and prevents pain

THE IMPORTANCE OF BREATHING

Breathing is one of the most crucial activities for generating and circulating energy (qi) in the body. In traditional medicine, breathing goes beyond merely supplying oxygen—it plays a fundamental role in creating and moving qi throughout the organs and meridians, which is essential for maintaining health.

The Importance of Breathing:

Breathing balances yin and yang. Exhaling is associated with yang, while inhaling relates to yin. When we exhale, we release unnecessary energy (such as heat or carbon dioxide), and when we inhale, we bring in fresh oxygen and vitality. If this process is not functioning smoothly, tension and discomfort can build up in the body, leading to various health problems. Particularly when we’re angry or stressed, our heart rate increases, and the body’s tension levels spike as the sympathetic nervous system becomes activated. At times like these, it’s important to breathe deeply and slowly. Simply taking deep breaths and exhaling slowly can greatly reduce tension and help calm your emotions.

Proper Breathing Techniques:

1. Deep Breathing: Start by lightly inhaling and then exhaling deeply. Inhale for three seconds, then exhale for six seconds. Repeating this process six times can significantly reduce tension in the body.

2. Diaphragmatic Breathing (Abdominal Breathing): The focus is on breathing deeply using the diaphragm. The primary goal is to move the air deeply into the lungs, expanding the lower abdomen as you inhale. Inhale through the nose, allowing the belly to rise, and exhale through the mouth, allowing the belly to fall. This promotes deep relaxation and reduces stress by activating the parasympathetic nervous system. This method is typically used for calming the body and mind, improving lung function, and promoting relaxation.

3. Hypogastric Breathing (Danjeon Breathing): The focus is on gathering and circulating energy (qi or chi) in the Danjeon, a point about 2-3 inches below the navel. Similar to diaphragmatic breathing, but with a stronger emphasis on controlling and directing the breath towards the Danjeon area. Practitioners visualize energy being stored in this area as they breathe. This breathing technique is not just for relaxation but for cultivating internal energy, balancing the body’s qi, and improving vitality. It is often used in martial arts, meditation, and traditional Eastern practices.

4. Maintaining a Rhythm: Keeping a steady rhythm in your breathing is essential. Calm and steady breathing helps maintain the body’s balance and circulation. Deep, slow breaths are beneficial, while shallow and fast breathing can lead to tension, so it’s best to avoid it.

Beginner in Diaphragmatic (Abdominal) Breathing:

When you first begin diaphragmatic breathing, it's recommended to practice while lying down.

1.    Lie on your back with your knees bent at about a 90-degree angle.
2.    Place your feet shoulder-width apart and rest your hands beside your hips.
3.    Inhale deeply through your nose for 3 seconds, letting your belly expand fully.
4.    Hold your breath for 3 seconds, then exhale slowly through your mouth for 6 seconds, drawing your belly button towards your spine.
5.    Repeat steps 1-3 ten times for five sets.

Helpful Insight for your Treatment

MEDITATION

The Korean word “명상” (Meditation) is composed of two Chinese characters: 명 (冥): means “dark” or “deep and tranquil state.” 상 (想): means “thought” or “the act of focusing the mind.” So, “명상” (Meditation) refers to “focusing the mind in a deep and tranquil state.”

1. Meditation that Focuses on Inner Reflection and Self-Concentration:

This form of meditation is primarily about deeply examining one’s inner world. It involves paying attention to one’s thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations, almost as if you are looking into your mind like a mirror. Through this, you can understand yourself, calm your mind, and connect with your inner self. Examples of meditation techniques: Breath meditation, Mindfulness meditation. Goal: Self-healing, self-reflection, and seeking inner peace

2. Meditation that Forgets the Self and Focuses on a Greater Being:

This approach to meditation is about transcending the individual self and seeking unity with a larger existence, such as nature, the universe, or God. It aims to break free from the ego and connect with a greater force, trying to harmonize with divine or cosmic energy. Examples of meditation techniques: Mantra meditation, Transcendental meditation (connecting with the universe). Goal: Transcending the ego, harmonizing with a greater being, and connecting with the divine

The Complementary Relationship Between the Two Approaches:

These two types of meditation are complementary. Through inner calm, you may understand and heal yourself, preparing to connect with something greater. Alternatively, by connecting with a greater existence, you may discover deep truths within yourself. In essence, meditation is a process of realizing that both “the self” and “the greater being” are connected.

CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE ON MEDITATION:

Christian meditation is not simply about focusing on oneself or transcending one’s being. Instead, it is about reflecting on God’s Word, seeking His will, and deepening our relationship with Him.

1. Meditating on God’s Word

The core of Christian meditation is to deeply reflect on Scripture. Psalm 1:2 says, “But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.” Here, “meditate” goes beyond just reading—it involves pondering the Word, applying it to life, and understanding God’s purpose.

2. God-Centered, Not Self-Centered

Unlike secular meditation, which often aims for self-transcendence or connection to the universe, Christian meditation focuses on God. It’s not about forgetting oneself but about entrusting oneself to God and walking with Him. It involves surrendering ourselves to Him and listening for His guidance.

3. Connection Between Prayer and Meditation

Christian meditation is closely linked to prayer. If prayer is a conversation with God where we express our hearts to Him, meditation is the quiet act of listening to His Word and understanding His will. Just as Elijah heard God’s voice in a “gentle whisper” (1 Kings 19:12), meditation allows us to quiet our hearts and listen attentively to God’s presence.

4. Pursuing Intimacy with God

Meditation enables us to grow closer to God. It’s not about emptying our minds but about filling our hearts with His truth and aligning our lives with His will. Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Meditation is a time to still our restless hearts, acknowledge His sovereignty, and draw near to Him.

Practical Ways to Meditate:

1.  Meditate on Scripture: Reflect on a verse by reading it repeatedly and engraving its meaning in your heart.
2.  Open Your Heart to God: Quietly present your thoughts and emotions to God and wait for His voice.
3.  Meditate in Nature: Observe creation and contemplate God’s power and providence.
4.  Practice Gratitude: Reflect on the blessings in your life and thank God for His grace.

Christian meditation is not just a source of comfort; it is a transformative time to deepen our relationship with God and grow into the person He desires us to be.

WHAT OUR PATIENTS ARE SAYING

1. "Hi, My name is Katie and I have been coming to Healing Soul Acupuncture and Herbal Clinic

for about a year and a half. I found the clinic on Google and saw a bunch of great reviews and wanted to try it out. And here I am, a year and a half later, still coming regularly for a variety of health conditions. The biggest one was I first came in for some miscarriage symptoms and now I have a beautiful two month old baby!

Dr. Kim really helped with that pregnancy and transitioned the baby into the right position for birth. So that was really exciting. I just love coming here every week or so! Everyone is so nice and friendly and I just feel so refreshed when I leave."

2. "I've been coming to Dr. Kim at Healing Soul Acupuncture for about 2 years and I first came with sciatica and immediately she knew what it was and she said she only needed (to see me for) three treatments and in three treatments, I was literally better. It was amazing! No medicine, nothing. I've had a lot of cupping throughout the years because sometimes my blood will get "stuck" and immediately, I would feel so much better and recently, I had a hurt knee and Dr. Kim has helped me through the whole process. And, she's just amazing! The establishment is absolutely beautiful, it's so clean and filled with light and beautiful plants. The establishment is just full of love. It's not like a normal clinic that you might go to where it's kind of dark and it's just different! Dr. Kim is definitely unique, she's a healer, and just a beautiful person. And her daughters work here as well, so it's a family of love."

3. My experience at the Healing Soul (Healing Soul Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic) has been an amazing journey. I initially came to the Healing Soul to help with overall health concerns. Dr. Kim listened to my concerns and addressed every last one of them. I received needling acupuncture, moxa therapy, and cupping. Dr. Kim has a beautiful spirit and the connection that I made with acupuncture made the experience overall more successful. Gloria is also an amazing spirit as well. She makes me laugh at every visit. I would recommend the Healing Soul (Healing Soul Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic) to anyone to have a peaceful relationship with life and self-care. Take care. Thank you."

4. "Healing Soul Acupuncture is a hidden gem. There's flowing water once you drive into the parking lot. Then you go inside and It's a beautifully renovated office with soft wood tones, natural light, glass displays with healing herbs, an herbal pharmacy, and healthy green plants throughout. Not to mention, It's always immaculately clean, warm, and welcoming. Dr. Kim is gifted with healing hands! Her many years of studies mixed with intuition gives her the ability to be in tune with her patients needs; sometimes without saying it. I've been visiting Healing Soul Acupuncture for over a year now and I no longer struggle with sciatica pain nor the shoulder issues I originally started going for. I'm currently doing facial acupuncture and my skin is glowing plus the texture has smoothed out immensely. I can't say enough great things about Healing Soul and Dr. Kim! If I could give them 10 stars, I would!!!" -Katina B.
